figuring things out

it's really rewarding to get a computer fixed by a man who speaks no english. i think my spanish gets better. it's the little things.

in other news, went to madrid, toledo, the ebro delta, mnac, santa maria del mar, a girl talk concert. couch surfed with paul and slept a night in an airport. saw the most crowded club i've ever seen in my entire life. also said some dumb things and kinda embarrassed myself on a couple of occasions.

in other news, another embarrassing thing, the amount of brand new i've been listening to, and the amount of the office i've been watching. it started when the weather got nicer and peaked when i saw guernica (the br&new), and peaked when i was on a travel mania on trains and boats and planes, and subsided when i finished all seasons (the oficina).

lots has gone down. some biddies visited, we stayed up all night dancing in the streets, twice. went to the top of the sagrada, and to a place that only sells champaign. i went to another country to a city without cars or bikes, only vaporettos and gondolas. i know that some things and people person are missing here but i've just had a great couple of weeks. straight chillin

Gala and Salvador Dalí had a weird and crazy romance and it's so intriguing and beautiful and wacky. his museum was wonderful and i want to learn more about him

Tarragona fue el capital del imperio romano por dos anos,la ciudad tiene muchos ruinos- cosas del siglo uno o antes. me gustaba mucho.

hoy hace sol y fresca y hay una montana de las parques, como Labrynt, Ciutadella, y una en un museo grátis.

compré una bici al mercado El Encants, es muy pequeno y cómico y cuando la ando probablemente me parece como un nino con mi pelo nuevo.

Universitat Pompeu Fabra is a cool cool place, where they sell beer in the cafeteria and everyone hangs out in the beautiful courtyard in the wonderful weather and speaks their beautiful language as i attempt to do the same, then butcher it. the best part about having classes there is the long break i have beforehand where i walk across a good portion of the city- through chinatown and the arc de triumf and the zoo and the big big park. i still don't have a bicing, after this weekend i am going to get on that.
